Biography

Dr. Lei Chen is an investigator in College of Future Technology, Peking University, China. His research interest is on the structural mechanism of proteins involved in human diseases, especially cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases. His lab has determined the structures of several important drug targets, including the metabolic sensor KATP channel (Cell 2017), the nitric oxide receptor soluble guanylate cyclase (Nature 2019), and the glucose transporter SGLT2 (Nature 2021).
