Abstract:
Digital life research stands at the frontier of computational and life sciences, employing large-scale simulations and intelligent computations to reconstruct multi-scale dynamic behaviors from cells (neurons) to ecosystems. This talk, titled "Towards Digital Life: A Computational Perspective," showcases Dr. Ma Lei's recent contributions, including breakthroughs in biomedical image visualization, GPU-accelerated parallel computing algorithms, and the "eVolution" platform for detailed neuronal network simulations. The presentation also covers AI-driven brain science advancements, such as SCN neuronal time encoding mechanisms and a C. elegans closed-loop simulation model.
Finally, the talk explores future directions in computational digital life, focusing on transformative innovations from algorithms to practical applications.
